4-Star City-Center Apartment with Secure Parking in Funchal
Accommodation
Green Living-Funchal provides a one-bedroom apartment in Funchal city centre with a living room containing a sofa bed and a dining area. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, along with a washing machine and a private entrance. Air-conditioning units operate in both the main room and the bedroom, and a lift serves all floors with a secure pin-coded building door.
Location
The apartment sits 6 minutes from Almirante Reis Beach and 5 minutes from the Cathedral of Funchal. Marina do Funchal is 800 metres away, and Madeira Botanical Garden is 1.8 km from the property. A supermarket and pharmacy with good opening hours are located directly opposite, and all shops, attractions, and restaurants are within easy level walking distance.
Location
Secure car parking is available nearby, accessed by a remote control that comes with the main key. The approach road to the parking area can be tight, so a compact rental car is recommended. A lift with access to all floors and a secure entrance monitored by CCTV add to the convenience.
Guest Feedback
Guests rated the apartment 10/10 for a 4-night stay, noting its central location and clean facilities. A 28-night stay guest praised the well-equipped and maintained apartment, fast wifi, and friendly hosts who left a welcome gift of fruit and vegetables. One reviewer cautioned that low windows on the 4th floor are not recommended for young children.
Leisure
Scuba diving opportunities surround the apartment, providing guests with direct access to underwater exploration. The central location places guests near bars, which can create some nighttime noise. The property is not recommended for young children due to the low windows and open drop from the 4th floor.
